Provider to Provider Messaging

Providers or other staff members at a facility are people to whom you can send messages. To this, instead of sending the message to a patient, you will select ‘Provider’ at the top of the message box. You can only message members of your organization who have access to the HelloHealth Facility app.

In the message module, you can share messages with one or more patients by:

Sending a message to a patient group

You can send a message to an entire patient group. Unlike broadcast messages, once you send a message to a patient group, each patient will receive a message in their inbox and their reply to the provider is seen by the provider. Therefore, one-on-one messaging happens once the patient receives and responds to the message.

There is no group chat functionality, therefore sending a message to a patient group does not create one.

Messaging Multiple patients

Similarly to patient groups, you can select multiple patients to receive one message. This too is different from broadcast messages, however, once the patient receives the message they can respond only to the provider and will not see that the message was also shared with other patients.

Note: This is useful when you need to share some information with patients who are not in the same patient group or if you don’t wish to create a patient group.
